The Benefits of Massage Group Coaching

Early in my massage career, it would take me forever to do anything with my business. Yep, I was a huge procrastinator. Especially if I didn’t know how to do something, I would drag my feet before learning how to do it. It was overwhelming knowing I had to be a marketer, networker, and halfway decent with rebooking my clients to get busy in my practice. I was awful about rebooking.  I would hope my massage was good enough for the client to ask me to come back! After all, I didn’t want to come off as a pushy salesman.

I gave away discounts, marketing for anyone who wanted to come to get a massage with me, Groupons, you name it, I did it. Ultimately, I felt burned out, underappreciated, and wondering if I made a mistake becoming a Massage Therapist. It wasn’t until I started talking to those successful in our profession that I began to think and work differently. One of my massage mentors, Scott Lindquist, taught me that rebooking is a process and that I should suggest that clients rebook more frequently.  He also has a fantastic course called Rebooking Mastery. Another of my massage mentors focused on my money mindset and made me start looking at my massage practice like a real business, thanks Melinda Loo! Between the both of them, I started becoming very successful in my practice.

Over the years, I’ve fostered my online Massage Therapist community in Rochester, NY. I loved when Facebook came out with Groups because it brought people with the same ideals together. In that time, I have been able to help several within my area with building their practices and getting the massage therapy community closer together in my area. People thrive when they are a part of a community. This is why I wanted to create my coaching programs for Massage Therapists.
